Check out our Ballistic replacement panels for our Patrol Harness and our modular ballistics K9 vest/Mod-V. Based on military and law enforcement feedback, we designed our ballistics vest to be lightweight for maximum use as well as maximum protection of your K9’s vital organs.
Our Patrol Harness and Mod-V ballistics vest have two options to suit your needs: (1) both a ballistics and a spike multi-protection armored vest or (2) ballistics only. Our ballistics are compliant with NIJ Standard 0101.06 for Ballistic Resistant Body Armor, Level II as well as NIJ Standard 0115.00 for Spike Protection Class, Level II. Usually, most K9 ballistics vests only protect against ballistics, but our vest protects not only ballistics, but with optional knife strikes as well.
Our ballistics panels are neutral buoyant, meaning our ballistics provide neutral buoyancy for the K9 while wearing the Patrol Harness or Mod-V during water hazards. The Patrol Harness or Mod-V is not designed as a life-preserver. However, the neutral buoyancy allows for operations where water obstacles are likely and to help minimize fatigue while the K9 is wearing the Patrol Harness or Mod-V.
In addition, if you are looking for flotation capabilities during water operations look no further than our flotation panel. It provides up to 25 lbs. of positive buoyancy and replaces the back panel in both the Patrol Harness or the Mod-V.
Note: The floatation panel provides no ballistic or spike protection and is only designed for flotation purposes only.
